Shauna Pupp, Registered Psychologist, has offered clinical services in Calgary since 2009. Her services are covered by psychology inclusive insurance policies.
She has developed expertise in adolescent mental health, clinical depression and anxiety, the core concept of trauma, and couples treatment, ranging from marital therapy to issues of separation, divorce, and family blending.
Specific to trauma, Ms. Pupp specializes in the needs of first responders and veterans. A key aspect of her treatment is her certification and expertise in therapeutic human-horse interaction: Equine therapy. This structured and empirically supported approach is offered at her office/equine center for patients suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic distress, and marital conflict. She is certified in Equine Assisted Learning and is a clinical advisor/program facilitator for Wounded Warriors Canada.
Shauna’s leadership role extends to being a principle manager of Amundson and Associates, one of Alberta’s oldest independent practices. She is leading the expansion of the office to include an acreage setting to integrate aspects of nature into the healing process. Her professional contributions include professional consultation, committee work with the Psychologist Association of Alberta, and consultation with The College of Alberta Psychologists and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). Her academic research involves health psychology, post-traumatic resolution, and the healing nature of equine-focused treatment.
Mr. Webber received his license as a Registered Psychologist in 2001. His foundational training is in Marriage and Family Systems Therapy, and he specializes in helping individuals, adolescents, and families navigate complex relationship dynamics. Beyond his clinical practice, Zane serves as the National Supervising Psychologist for Mensa Canada.
His areas of expertise include anxiety, anger management, and stress reduction. He has a particular passion for premarital counselling and has found great success working with children, teens, and their parents to resolve family conflicts. Having lived abroad in Seoul, South Korea for 13 years, Zane brings unique insight into cross-cultural issues as well as the specific challenges faced by military personnel and first responders.
Zane uses a meaning-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach combined with Narrative Therapy to help clients find practical solutions. While based in Calgary, he also operates a practice on the East Coast at Webber Psychology in Fredericton, NB.
April MacDougall is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, children, youth, and families in the Calgary area. Recognizing that there are multiple pathways to wellness, April focuses on understanding each person's unique circumstances to help them maximize their well-being and make sustainable changes.
She has extensive experience helping teens and youth with significant concerns, including Social Anxiety, Substance Use, low mood (Depression), stress, peer issues, and challenges with school performance. She also works with individuals on issues like life stress and anger management.
April's effective, relational approach utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Her priority is fostering a strong therapeutic relationship to ensure lasting and meaningful change for her clients.
Mr. Nizio is a registered psychologist providing counselling and therapy to adolescents and adults. Mr. Nizio was trained in a psychodynamic approach to therapy but he recognizes that no single approach is right for everyone, so he incorporates in his work a range of other modalities including CBT, Solution-Focused, Humanistic and Existential therapies.
From the beginning of his career Mr. Nizio’s passion has been therapy. Central to his professional interests is the opportunity to assist people who are in any kind of crisis or who simply want to re-evaluate their current life. Mr. Nizio works with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, stress and has experience, and a special interest, in areas of dependencies / addictions and grief/loss. He provides services to people from all faiths, races, orientations and ethnic groups in English as well services in his native Polish language.
Clint is a Registered Psychologist offering specialized assessment, couple's therapy, and trauma-informed therapy for individuals and families in the Calgary area. His extensive background, which includes roles as a supervisor at the Calgary Distress Center and a Victims Services Advocate with the RCMP, strongly informs his practice.
Clint has expanded his specialization to include consultation and treatment services for trauma-exposed professionals and their families, such as first responders. His prior work includes providing domestic violence treatment services and developing prevention programs.
Clint’s speciality is Couples Therapy. He is extensively trained in Gottman Couples Therapy and supports clients navigating diverse relational challenges, including communication issues, emotional disconnection, sex and intimacy, infidelity, division of labour, blending families, and conscious uncoupling.

Dr. Marc Ross (PhD. Ed.) is a Registered Psychologist practicing virtually by video, specializing in a holistic and integrated approach to mental wellness. His practice is deeply informed by evolutionary psychology and integral studies, alongside extensive experience in research, teaching, and writing.
Dr. Ross follows the tradition of the "wounded healer," using his personal experience with quadriplegia to help clients adapt to chronic pain, disability, and physical injury.
His therapeutic toolkit is unique, utilizing Biofeedback and Hypnotherapy alongside approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. He also speaks French.

Min is a Registered Psychologist offering tailored, practical therapy and psychological assessments across the lifespan. Serving the Calgary area, Min provides services in both fluent English and Korean.
Min specializes in adult ADHD assessments and OCD assessments, while also providing therapeutic support for a wide range of concerns: anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, and school-related challenges. She excels in family therapy for relational and parent–child concerns, particularly those navigating neurodiversity (ADHD, autism, giftedness, learning disorders).

Szymon has been a clinical psychologist and marriage therapist for over 40 years and provides professional service in fluent both English and Polish.
He has worked in 4 countries including Canada over the last 25 years. His areas of expertise include personal and family crisis, lifestyle modifications, stress management, anxiety and depression disorders.
He has been staying well informed of the latest research on the psychological, social, medical and biological basis of psychotherapy/counselling, which he practices with an emphasis on people’s capacity for positive change and functional well-being.

Dr. Jon K Amundson, MA; MAPP, PhD was registered as the 579th psychologist in the Province and opened A/A in 1980 in Calgary.
He has taught at the university and college level, trained and supervised countless psychologists over the years; consulted on practice and ethics with hundreds, provided opinions to the Alberta Courts over 500 times, provided over 40k hours of clinical service and guided both his professional Association the College licensing body: twice named psychologist of the year in Alberta. He has supported vulnerable populations in his work through the profession and outside the office, personifying the scholar-activist role for psychologists.
Aside from direct services, Jon has written and published contributing to research in such journals as Family Court Review, The journal of Marriage and Family Therapy, Alternative Higher Education, American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis, and Journal of Transpersonal Psychology, not to mention the Alberta Fishing Guide.
This little bit of here/there/alot of everywhere’s intellectually has included senior/elder athlete endeavours: hundreds of kilometres of cross country ski racing as sponsored athlete and several times several times World Champion in Polynesian canoe racing.
Jon always has one or two shelter dogs in residence in residence with him. He says he is lucky because he “never really worked a day in his life!” in his joy as a psychologist. He continues to challenge and energize the practice with his commitment and enthusiasm.
Michelle oversees operations for our office and wrangles the Psychologists. She provides a human connection for clients calling in to the office and provides help in managing a smooth intake and booking process.
She’s also the personal assistant to Dr. Amundson.
